David Jacobson, DMD - Dental Implantologist

Dr. David Jacobson - Dental ImplantologistDr. Jacobson received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine and completed a dental internship with the United States Coast Guard on Governers Island. He completed training programs in dental implant surgery and prosthodontics at the Misch Implant Institute. Dr. Jacobson is a Misch Surgical Implant Fellow and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the highest level of credentialing awarded by that organization. Dr. Jacobson is a former adjunct faculty member at the SUNY Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn and a former Clinical Instructor at New York University, College of Dentistry. He has lectured extensively at the Greater NY Dental Meeting and local study clubs.

Howard Lee, DDS, MD

Howard Lee, DDS, MDDr. Ho Lee specializes in advanced dental implantology. He also works with maxillofacial traumatology and anesthesia/sedation dentistry. After completing his bachelor of science degree in genetics and molecular biology from the University of Toronto, Dr. Lee obtained his DDS degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. Lee then received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, followed by an internship at the Department of General Surgery, and a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Prior to joining Fifth Avenue Dental Associates, Dr. Lee was an associate in the office of Dr. Leonard Linkow.

Mayer Sinesky, DDS

Mayer Sinesky, DDSDr. Mayer Sinesky earned his bachelor of arts degree from Queens College, and received his DDS degree, as well as a Certificate in Periodontics, from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Sinesky is a former clinical assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Sinesky has been the recipient of many prestigious honors and awards, including the Samuel Charles Miller Award for Excellence in Periodontics. Additionally, he has published many research articles, and he lectures frequently in the New York area. Dr. Sinesky is a member of the Academy of Periodontology and the International Association for Dental Research.

Barry Borger, DDS

borgerDr. Barry Borger received his dental training at the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he was one of 24 students chosen from an applicant pool of 2400 people. After one year of in practice as a general dentist, Dr. Borger entered a residency program in periodontology at Boston University. Since graduation, he has limited his practice to periodontics and implantology. Dr. Borger has taken advanced courses in implant treatment planning including computer generated treatment planning; ridge augmentation and sinus lift procedures. He has been trained in all of the major implant systems.

Dr. Ash Estafan - Prosthodontist

Dr. Ash Estafan - ProsthodontistDr. Estafan received his DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Following graduation, he began a General Practice Residency at the Department of Veteran's Affairs Hospital in Manhattan, New York. Immediately following the GPR, he was accepted to the Post-graduate program in Prosthodontics at NYU - a rigorous three year specialty program. During his post-graduate residency, Dr Estafan began lecturing in New York and abroad. He has presented his work and lectured at NYU, for the American College of Prosthodontists, Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontists, International Association of Dental Research. Dr. Estafan is Board Certified Diplomate of The American Board of Prosthodontists. He is also a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and an associate fellow of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontists, the New York Academy of Dentists and the Northeastern Gnathological Society. Dr. Estafan has been appointed to the faculty at NYU as a Clinical Assistant Professor where he supervises and guides students and residents in their training.

Sandra Kupferman, DMD,MS

borgerDr Kupferman received her Dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine while simultaneously completing a Masters in Education from the same institution. After completing a one year General Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital, she returned to University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine to complete her specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Dr Kupferman went on to complete a fellowship program at New York University College of Dentistry, focusing on advanced implant and bone augmentation procedures. Dr Kupferman has been a Clinical Assistant Professor since 2002 at New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. She has been involved in numerous research projects and presentations through the NYU Implant Department.

She is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
